Biography
Madi Bapiuly was born on March 28, 1880, in the Edyrei parish. Since childhood, he became famous for his singing and playing the dombra. He studied with famous singers Birzhan Sala and Ahan Serik.
1880
After escaping from prison, his songs quickly spread among the people, After which he had to hide from the government for a long time and not enter his native lands. And so his song "Shirkin-ai" came out.

He fought in the ranks of the Red partisans against the troops of Kolchak
1919
Madi Bapiuly was killed by order of the government
1921
When he returned home, he was accused of stealing horses and escaping from prison, and again went to prison
1917
He was convicted and served his sentence in Atbasar, Karkaralinsk, Semipalatinsk, Omsk. In prison, he wrote the song "Karakesek", talks about his difficult fate and injustice in the world.
